Nightowl Socks are coming to Ravelry, Payhip and Lovecrafts this Friday (I\u2018ll update with links as soon as they are live) and as I\u2018ve mentioned every now and then \ud83d\ude0a the pattern includes 10 sizes – from 44 to 80 sts, corresponding to a leg and foot circumference from 15.7 to 29.5 cm or 6.25 to 11.625 inches.

Nightowl Socks sind ab Freitag bei Ravelry, Payhip und Lovecrafts erh\u00e4ltlich (ich werde die Links hinzuf\u00fcgen, sobald sie live sind) und wie ich hier und da erw\u00e4hnt habe \ud83d\ude0a beinhaltet die Anleitung 10 Gr\u00f6ssen – von 44 bis 80 Maschen, entsprechend einem Bein- und Fussumfang von 15.7 bis 29.5 cm.

Why that? Why all that work? Wouldn\u2019t a 64 stitch sock be enough? Well, for one, I\u2018m super small myself and my shoe size is about 33 Eur \/ 2 Kids size US \/ 13.5 Kids size UK. So I totally know what it\u2018s like to look at all the pretty sock patterns on Ravelry and realize how much math and hard work would be involved in making them fit me – and I absolutely don\u2018t want you to feel that way with my patterns.

Warum das? Warum all die Arbeit? W\u00e4re eine Socke mit 64 Maschen nicht genug? Nun, zum einen bin ich selbst sehr klein und habe Schuhgr\u00f6sse 33. Deshalb weiss ich genau, wie es ist, all die sch\u00f6nen Sockenanleitungen auf Ravelry anzugucken und zu wissen, wie viel Rechnerei und Arbeit es machen w\u00fcrde, dass sie mir passen – und ich m\u00f6chte absolut nicht, dass Du Dich bei meinen Anleitungen so f\u00fchlst.<\/em>

Maybe you have smaller or bigger than average feet as well? Or maybe you knit for a charity and they need socks in different sizes? Or do you knit for your kids or grandkids and they get jealous if they don\u2018t have the same things?
