Sometimes, yarn can be really chatty. It tells me exactly what it wants to be, or what I should name the pattern it will become.<\/p>\n

The Chiri Alpakka I brought from Norway was quite the opposite.<\/p>\n

It’s beautiful, so soft and snuggly. But it doesn’t talk much. And when it does, all it ever says is “No”. I swatched and swatched and swatched, but it did not want to become anything. If Grumpy Cat was a yarn, it would be my Chiri Alpakka.<\/p>\n

The white yarn finally said it might want to become a cowl. But not together with the red yarn, and not with the first … hundred stitch patterns I tried. (I might be exaggerating a little bit, but I definitely haven’t swatched that much for a single yarn ever before).<\/p>\n

The cowl is finally done, but I still don’t know what it wants to be called… So here comes your chance:<\/p>\n
