While I was sick with cold, I was dreaming about color, color and color. So as soon as I felt better, I started knitting Stephen West’s Zoolandia in a really crazy yarn – blue, orange, pink, yellow, white. Just what I needed.
The yarn is Online Supersocke, the color is called orange-mix.
I also ordered two balls of Regia Fluormania Color. The yarn is just gorgeous, I’ve started a beautiful honeycomb scarf with one of them.
In case you wondered what happened to the long list of WIPs I showed you – I’ve knit a little bit on the Sweet & Simple Top. So they are not forgotten 🙂
The test for my Jolanda pattern is almost over, it’s so exciting that she will be released into the world soon. The test-knitters made some really beautiful versions.
My next design is finished and blocking. It’s a top-down triangular lace shawl worked in Drops Kid-Silk and I just love the look and feel of the yarn. It’s so soft and light and warm – like a really snuggly cloud. Stay tuned for a sneak peek as soon as I get my hubby to take photos 🙂
While knitting this shawl, I learned that mohair/silk-yarns are much stronger than they look. You can wet-block it just as you would wool and even put it in the dryer (in just air-mode) if it doesn’t regain its fluffyness when it’s dried.
This is super pretty, Wusel.
Looking forward to you new design, a “snuggly cloud” sounds like a lovely piece of clothing.
Thank you 🙂
I’ll show it after our vacation, beginning of July. But as a bonus for the long waiting time I’ll have two samples ready to show by then. 🙂
