I have a two new patterns available on Ravelry, Patternfish, Craftsy and LoveKnitting 🙂
The first is the Red Wine Blue Grapes Cowl
It’s perfect for that skein or two of luxury yarn and for some quality time just for you. A glass of wine to go with it doesn’t hurt, either 🙂
The red version has been knitted in Rauma Chiri Alpakka, the other in Malabrigo Worsted. You can choose between a long or short version of the cowl worked seamlessly or seamed or a scarf.
The same goes for the second pattern, the Arosa Cowl. The short version has been worked in Lang Yarns Merino 150 Color, the long version in Araucania Botany Lace. I fell in love with the beautiful projects my testers made, so with their permission I used their photos for the pattern photo as well 🙂
Arosa is a beautiful village in the Swiss mountains known not only for skiing but also for lots of squirrrels that love to be fed by the tourists. My husband and I spend a week there every winter and our next stay is not far away. Maybe that is why all I could think of while knitting this cowl was Arosa. The sun, the snow, the lakes, the winding paths… It just had to be named the Arosa Cowl!
