It’s a nice sunny and warm day today, but still – it’s autumn and for me, the cold always comes TOO EARLY.
I will be prepared this year, though – my Montreal Set is finished. Cowl, hat and mittens all made from Drops Eskimo – and there’s a reason the yarn is called that. 🙂
As much as I love my lace yarn, superbulky does have its advantages, too. I knit the whole set, that has been designed for my best friend in Canada, in just a few days.
The hat comes in two sizes, finished hat circumference 49 cm (19.25”) and 55 cm (21.5”). It is worked from the top down, so it can be easily adjusted for length.
The mittens come in three sizes, 18/20.5/23 cm 7”/8”/9” hand circumference. A thumb gusset gives comfort in wearing, while the bulky wool keeps your hands warm even in the coldest winters.
The cowl measures 112 cm (44”) around and is 16 cm (6.5”) wide, but it can be easily adjusted to be as wide or as long as you want.
All patterns have been professionally tech-edited by cupani and test-knit.
