This summer hubby and I spent a vaction in Norway – a childhood dream come true for me. One day we were driving around in our rental car, stopping wherever it looked nice. This way, we came to Lærdal, a community near the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Europe.
Lærdal has a beautiful stave church, and the longest road tunnel in the world. But it also has a wonderful little yarn store that we came across. Hubby looked for a parking spot immediately and I could enjoy the beautiful Norwegian yarns.
Two of the three yarns I brought with me have been turned into designs now. Today I want to show you the International Cowl.
The pattern went live today. It combines Norwegian yarn with an Estonian stitch pattern and a Swiss Designer – truly international indeed 🙂 Where are you going to knit it?
